Ah yes, Hello, World.
For anyone familiar with software development, this phrase is practically a rite of passage—a simple yet iconic initiation into a new language or technology. It’s fitting that when I created this WordPress site, I was greeted with the default Hello, World post. So, I figured, why not run with it? After all, it’s not my first hello world, and it won’t be my last.
This, however, is my first public hello on this updated site.
Let’s be honest, I’m diving back into blogging at a time when life is as busy as ever—but in the best possible way. Since my last hello world moment, a lot has changed. I’ve wrapped up my MBA, stepped into an adjunct professor role teaching business analytics, and taken on exciting opportunities at a few different companies. I also spent 4.5 years as the president of a volunteer fire company, a role that was both challenging and incredibly rewarding.
On the personal side, I got married and added a Dalmatian to the family—life is certainly never dull with him around. With all of this going on, I’ve been away from blogging for a while, but I’m ready to get back to it. This space feels like the perfect way to share updates, ideas, and stories once again.
As I sit here, I’m pondering what direction I want this site to take. Maybe you’re wondering the same thing. I have a few ideas—perhaps I’ll revisit some prior works I’ve written, share my thoughts on topics that spark my interest, or document some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
Whatever this evolves into, I hope it becomes something meaningful—for me, and maybe for you too.
So, stay tuned, my friends. It won’t be long before we meet again.
